Where is The Grind located?

The Grind is located at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station.  We are in the Base Exchange building (755), directly across the hall from the barbershop. (Side note--the barbershop is now under new management and is open 5 days a week!)

We are not open to the general public as entrance to the base requires prior security clearance. 

​

When will you be opening?

​

We plan on holding a soft opening on Monday, April 17th and a Grand Opening Celebration on Monday, April 24th. Check back for announcements or enter your email address below to receive updates.

What will be on the menu?

​

We plan on starting small and expanding our offerings once we get settled and find our groove. To start, we will have a variety of hot and cold beverages and a limited breakfast and lunch menu. We plan on having a few staples but want to also offer seasonal menu items and specials.

What will be your hours of operation? Will be open on UTA weekends?

​

We will be open Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:00pm. Yes, we will also be open on UTA weekends.

​

Hours are subject to change based on holidays but will always be noted on the website in advance. 

Keep in mind, The Grind is a small business and may need to close in the event of illness or family emergency. We will do our very best to give as much notice as possible on the website and at the cafe.

Will you have an ordering app?

​

Yes! A link and QR are posted below for customers to create a patron account through the Dripos app. The app will allow customers to order ahead and track orders so you know when it is ready for pick-up. Customers can also create an account to save payment information, favorite orders, and to join the loyalty program.

What is "Grind for Good"?

​

Grind for Good is the program we have created to give back to the Airmen and Family Readiness programs on the base. We will donate a portion of the retail sales from our "Grind for Good" coffee beans to these programs.
